Nabi vol.16 Preview.

Only 3 days ago I decided to create this blog. It was after checking Royal Hearts’ and Tale of Felluah’s pages over and over again for updates, I thought I would need to do something to keep me sane xD I still haven’t found a way to promote this blog yet, so you (yes you, the one reading this right now) may be one of the very first people reading my posts. I’d hope for a comment telling me to keep going on. Can you do that?

Anyway, well, I finished updating vol.15.


I apologize for the poor quality pictures and editing, but that's all I can do. I don't have any intention of providing HQ scans anyway, you'll have to wait for Royal Hearts, their works are at amazing quality. 

Back to the point, I’ll post about vol.16 as soon as there are some people reading (LOL). Here are some points I can tell right now:

- The whole vol.16 is still about the alternative universe. It’s such a long arc right? But hang in there, in the end it’ll make perfect sense why showing all those alternative realities is important.

- Umm like I said in the previous post, there is KISS SCENE!!!! Now I officially like Ryu Sang of this timeline for all his affection towards Myo-un. Totally opposite to the real universe while he’s such a pain sometimes :-s

- I just wrote “all those alternative realities”. Yes, there is even one more parallel universe that So-ryu will show to Ryu Sang: he’ll still live at the Temple with everyone, except for Myo-un. Myo-un doesn’t exist in that dimension. That line of the story will also clarify the relationship (or rather lack of relationship) between Ryu Sang and So-ryu.

There is a really nice discussion on Royal Hearts’ comment page at the moment (which I can’t join because Disqus hates me). Here are some interesting questions I’ve picked up:

1. Why does So-ryu seem so obsessed with Ryu Sang? Is that because he is the only person who can see her when she is at her “shaman” mode or because she falls in love with him?

2. Does So-ryu want to separate Ryu Sang from Myo-un? Sometimes she acts a bit envious of Ryu Sang’s little affections for Myo-un. Other times she seems not to care about him and just wants to be friend with Myo-un.

3. So-ryu said that Myo-un would be the one who will find her when she becomes thin air. In fact the one who can see her is Ryu Sang. Did she make a mistake?

4. Does Ha-rim like Myo-un?

5. So-ryu said that Ha-rim is the one who will kill/destroy her in the future, yet she went ahead and saved him anyway. Why?

6. So-ryu and her situation is interesting, but the story has been focusing a lot on her lately. Why doesn’t it go back to Myo-un’s storyline?

Unless I interpret what I’ve read in vol.16 in a terribly wrong way, I think I’ve had answers for all these questions. Especially the second one, So-ryu’s bipolar state (haha) towards Myo-un and Ryu Sang, I have noticed some important details, now just waiting for vol.17 to confirm my theory. So again, everyone, give me some responses so I know whether to continue posting or not.

P.S: In the published version in my country, So-ryu’s name is transcribed like that, So-ryu, not Syo-ryu. I’m used to it so I’m just gonna use it. There is no absolute way to transcribe names from CJK (Chinese-Japanese-Korean) anyway.
